Ing. Stiva Jokeš

Managing Partner
Strategic Management
Stiva is managing partner. A graduate of J. E. Purkyně University at Ústí nad Labem, majoring in economics, accounting and management, he has pursued business since 1998. Participating in several restructuring and start-up projects, since 2016 he has been busy with investment projects for CEE INVESTMENTS LIMITED. Stiva also has extensive experience in crisis management, including insolvency processes. He is developing BL4U s.r.o. as its majority owner and has been the main driving force and the brain behind the whole operation.

Ing. Stanislav Bruna

Chemical and Petrochemical Industry
Alumni of University of Chemistry and Technology, where he also completed his postgraduate studies, Stanislav specialises in the petrochemical and manufacturing industries, gaining professional experience working in the private sector in this area and dealing with the state-controlled portion of strategic resources. During his time within the industry, he has held positions as a Strategy Manager, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. His strengths include, but are not limited to, his extensive experience in managing strategic processes, transformation of large industrial units and change management within the challenging conditions of highly complex technological production.

Mgr. Jiří Špinar

Restructuring and Insolvency
Jiří is responsible for the legal aspect of projects, calling on his legal studies in Prague and Bratislava. He has more than 10 years of experience in restructuring, insolvency and M&A, both as a senior consultant and as a company manager, and has actively contributed to a number of major businesses bailouts in various sectors and countries within the CEE region during his career. His experience is both theoretical and practical, often directly participating in the execution of proposed measures, not only to rescue businesses, but also to increase their operational efficiency.

Ing. Michal Berka

Mergers and Acquisitions
Michal has more than 20 years of experience in top management positions within medium and large companies. He specialises in all financial aspects of corporate governance, but has also had success in logistics, ICT, procurement, operations and HR management. His strengths include analyses and, first and foremost, downstream solutions of problematic areas and further business development in the field. He has completed a number of successful business mergers and acquisitions and a range of subsequent de-facto mergers of such businesses, as well as a score of successful restructuring projects that involved aspects of crisis management in manufacturing, trading and service-oriented businesses. As a financier, he is goal-oriented, striving to simplify processes and ensure their effective function within concerned companies. He is keen on gaining experience in other fields, which allows him to work with interesting people on new projects.

Ing. Pavel Folprecht

Pavel has more than 20 years of experience working for banking and financial institutions in various management positions within Central and Eastern Europe. He also has specific experience in restructuring projects involving financial institutions and setting up internal governance structures. He has worked for GE (General Electric), the largest company in the world during the time of Jack Welch, completing the company’s internal management development programme and Six Sigma. He has been awarded multiple times for his role in digitising the banking sector. In the past 5 years, he has primarily focused on forging business strategies and changes in internal culture to achieve higher efficiency, increase performance and prioritise investments in multinational companies.

Ing. Karel Jelínek, MBA, LL.M.

Energy Engineering
Karel graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Brno University of Technology before completing his studies at Nottingham Trent University (MBA in Strategic Management), and his postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno (LLM in Corporate Law). He began his professional career as an economic information system analyst and developer, going on to hold managerial positions in the Czech energy sector for 25 years (controlling, CFO, CEO, often combined with responsibility for HR, ICT and procurement). His fields of expertise include the industrial services markets and, his speciality and hobby, ERP implementation and development.

Břetislav Veselý

Manufacturing and Operations
Břetislav is a highly experienced goal- and result-oriented manager with over 25 years of experience in senior positions within international and Czech industrial companies. He has overseen comprehensive management ranging from sales through production, and performance enhancement of organisations and people using proven management tools and methods. As for his strengths, he has a firm grasp of change management, strategic management, organisational efficiency management and people development. Břetislav has strong experience in crisis management and in recent years has also worked as a mentor for small- and medium-sized business owners.

Ing. Petr Kovařík, MBA

Brewing Industry and FMCG
Petr graduated from the University of Chemistry and Technology and Sheffield Hallam University. He has spent nearly his entire professional life in the brewing industry, which makes him one of the biggest experts in this field in the Czech Republic and beyond. His career covers both manufacturing and distribution, and particularly international trade. As a Sales Director, he was a manager in both modern off- and on-trade environments, which, together with his previous experience, later allowed him to take the role of CEO for the entire Central European region of one of the key players in the domestic and Central European market.

Ing. Dalibor Petrů, Ph.D, MBA

Financial and Tax Management
As a partner, Dalibor is responsible for the economic, finance and tax issues of BL4U’s s.r.o. He has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, also working as a senior advisor for a consulting company (BIG4), and later holding high-ranking positions with financial departments as a CFO in both multinational corporations and local companies. In recent years he has fully devoted himself to consultancy and interim management. His experience comes in handy in comprehensive projects with no room for error, where reliance on an experienced financial manager is indispensable.

Ing. Roman Zaoral

Restructuring & HR
Roman is a partner responsible for restructuring and HR projects. He has more than 15 years of experience in HR management and implementation of changes, transformations, reorganisation in a wide portfolio of industries – manufacturing, food, construction, engineering, technology, facility management and hospitality in Central and Eastern Europe, Austria, Russia and the CIS, France, Germany and Italy. His strengths include implementing organisational change, crisis management, HR Due Diligence within the M&A process, integration of employee teams after mergers and/or acquisitions, transfers of employees between different employers – transfer of rights and obligations from employment relationships and comprehensive collective negotiating. He is an expert in the effective solution of issues regarding personnel, including mass redundancy processes in European countries.
